"I've placed an order but I'd like to change something, how can I go about this?"
Changes are accepted within 24 hours, however they will add a 30 day minimum to the current lead time posted on the home page of the website.

"What does a coiled cable mean?"
Coiled cables are a fun way to enhance a cable and give it a little extra aesthetic look to it.
When ordering, if you select a 6 ft cable with 6″ of coils, it will be 6 ft cable INCLUDING the 6″ coils.

The above scheme will total 6 ft USB to USB.
"What is the detachable option and what do the connectors do?"
The reason for making a cable detachable varies!
99% of the cables we make feature a detachable connector.
99% of 99% the people ordering them don’t plan on using them for their intended purpose; hot-swapping the possible connectors — but rather just a SWEET aesthetic preference!
It basically allows you to change your cable from a USB Type-C to a USB Mini-B, or whatever other connector you might need!

Returns/refunds
We do accept returns on “Build-Your-Own USB cables!
If you’re not completely satisfied with your order, we’ll even cover the cost of return shipping! Upon product arrival at our warehouse, we’ll process your refund.
We do not allow refunds or accept returns on the “collaborative Group Buy” cables that are pre-ordered with longer lead times, all of these sales are final.
We also do not accept returns on DIY Kits/standalone parts — as these are purchased at your own risk jumping into them!
Tracking
If you get an email that your order is completed, then you should receive an email containing tracking.
If you do not receive the follow up within 24 hours, please feel free to contact us to receive tracking.

We do offer international shipping outside of the United States!
Pricing varies on your exact location/Country. $10-$25 not including any customs fees.
"My order was placed on-hold...what does this mean?"
When an order is changed from “Processing” to “On-Hold” it means that one of our employees has printed your order invoice and are currently using it as a guideline to build your order.
If you order incorrectly and we end up making it to spec — this is not on us. Please double-triple-quadruple check before submitting an order that all of your connectors and lengths are correct!

"My cable isn't working?!
Our cables are put through a spectrum of various tests that include:
The passing of power, data transmission, immensely stressing all connection points of the cables, etc.
While some failures may or may not be unrelated to something we did — unexplained random hardware failures have definitely occurred.
In-short: We will absolutely take care of anyone with a failed cable.
This will include video chat troubleshooting proving the cable does not work and attempting some technical fixes that may help.
We will send you a shipping label if the cable is deemed defective , once it arrives and we can prove in-house this is so — we will go ahead and ship out the new one.
A replacement cable will be made exactly to spec of the previous one — absolutely no changes/modifications allowed.
Cable Length/Power Issues
Some Keyboards such as the Massdrop ALT/CTRL, HHKB’s or the Ducky One 2 Mini require more power to fully function.
So the max distance recommened is about 5 FT (with coils) and
13 FT (without coils).
Attenuation of power occurs in all cables (Loss over distance)
For most keyboards, the max length is 16 ft.
Please also note that a COILED CABLE usually adds 4-8ft of length to a cable and NEEDS to be factored into total cable length!
Please make sure to read through your keyboard manufacturers specs/guidelines before ordering!!
Can I use this cable with things other than keyboards?
No, we do not recommend using our cables for anything that charges a battery/powers another device aside from the 5v requirement of keyboards.
Wiring Diagram/DIY Kits
So we’eve included some stickers to help you with the correct wiring diagram, but just in case you didn’t receive them, here they are!
For detachable connectors, we use a proprietary pin out.
This means that our cables potentially may not work if you mix them with other companies products.
(example: device portion of one of our cables with the host portion of another company)
In all honestly, wiring color does NOT matter – so long as you match it on the opposing side. However, we obviously recommend doing it correctly.
FOR AVIATORS:
Aviators have numbered pins (1-5)
Our pin-out we use is:
1) Black
2) Green
3) White
4) Red
5)Blank OR a Drain Wire (shielding within the cable)
A DRAIN WIRE’s purpose is to ground and remove any electrical interference that would interrupt data being sent/received.
Personally, we don’t believe a drain wire is necessary when such low data transmission is occurring. (Typing on a keyboard)
This is more practical in a Cat6 cable or an HDMI cable when the signal strength meeting certain requirements is crucial.
